I'm an IB Diploma Programme student in Hyderabad, working across biotechnology, computational biology, and microbiology. Most of my work begins with the same instinct: take a question that sounds settled, and check whether the evidence behind it actually is.
That has taken me into gene editing and CRISPR delivery, into supervised wet-lab research on biofilms and antibiotic tolerance, and into machine learning applied to problems that laboratories are still expensive and slow to answer directly.
What holds it together is translation — pharmaceutical development, delivery systems, and the unglamorous distance between a promising result and something a clinician can actually use.
